RTP Safety Consultants isn’t just another safety company we’re, built from real-world experience. Founded by Roman Zepeda, a U.S. veteran and former safety director with over a decade of field leadership, RTP was created to serve teams often overlooked, especially Spanish-speaking workers and businesses without full-time safety staff. We believe that affordable, understandable, and OSHA-compliant training should be available to every crew regardless of background or industry. That belief fuels everything we do.

- Meet Roman Zepeda
A Mission Built on Real Experience
Roman Zepeda is a U.S. veteran, seasoned safety professional, and the founder of RTP. After more than 10 years serving as a safety director across construction, manufacturing, and agriculture, Roman recognized a major gap: many small businesses couldn’t afford full-time safety staff, and Spanish-speaking workers were often left confused by training that wasn’t built for them.
Motivated by real-world challenges and inspired by a vision of scalable, high-impact service, Roman launched RTP in 2018 to bring safety training and compliance support to teams that needed it most. His leadership style is rooted in clarity, trust, and showing up when it matters.
Known as the go-to guy when things go wrong, Roman leads with humility and experience offering reliable guidance, not generic solutions. Today, he’s focused on growing RTP nationwide while mentoring the next generation of safety leaders to build safer, smarter, and more inclusive worksites across the country.
